Why we exist
Good ideas
wait too long.
Traditional research funding is slow, bureaucratic, and often inaccessible to early-career researchers with promising ideas. Grant applications can take years, and meaningful research sits unfunded while people wait.
Remedy Fund offers a direct path from individual contributors to credentialed medical researchers — built around all-or-nothing funding, transparent reporting, and milestone progress updates.
Our approach

Credentialing
Credentialed researchers
Every live campaign is run by a researcher whose identity, academic or professional affiliation, and credential documentation have been reviewed before launch. Credentialing confirms the information provided — it does not endorse a researcher's scientific judgment, the methodology of any project, or the likelihood of any outcome.
Funding
All-or-nothing funding
Each campaign has a fixed goal and deadline. Reach the goal and funds are released to the researcher's Stripe Connect account, net of platform and payment-processing fees. Miss it and every contribution is refunded automatically — typically within 5–10 business days.
Reporting
Transparent reporting
Budget breakdowns and milestone progress updates are published by researchers and visible to all contributors. Milestones are reporting, not escrow — funds are not held back pending milestone delivery.
The fine print
Remedy Fund is a technology platform, not a charitable organization. Contributions are not tax-deductible and do not constitute donations. Contributions are not investments; contributors receive no equity, ownership, or financial return. We do not provide medical advice and do not guarantee research outcomes.
